My 9 yr old was very quick to put this together. He even decorated the car. All three of my children had fun racing it and its still (now months later) in good shape, sitting on a shelf in his room. Granted its not being used every day or even every week but I'm sure if I grabbed it and started to use it they would talk up a storm about their memories of the last time and the time before that and very quickly it'd be out of my hands and into theirs. Its not a high quality, last forever toy exactly but it definitely serves its purpose in teaching the lesson and also enjoyment to those using it.

My son received this for Christmas. It's a great idea for a toy, but the practical application does not work well at all. You hold it together with some flimsy double-sided tape, which does not hold the axles or car body together well at all. Once you blew up the balloon, it does move the vehicle some,but then the balloon kept slipping off the valve. It was a disappointing toy and frustrating to keep trying to fix it. We threw it away after one day of trying to play with it.
