I actually bought this for my real dachshund. Seems to hold up to his roughhousing, so I'm sure it would be pretty durable in a child's hands. It's very cute, very soft and throwable.
It would look very cute sitting on an office desk or something like that as well.

My kids loved these very well constructed, plush and cute faced Dachshund. They received them as x-mas gifts and have been playing/sleeping with them ever since. Perfect size for small hands.

This lttle guy is so cute and so soft! It is a great addition to my daughter's Webkinz collection. He arrived in perfect condition, all wrapped up in a bubble envelope to keep him safe.
