This puzzle was an excellent buy for my puzzle-loving 2.5 year old. He is just beginning jigsaw puzzles, and these ones are small enough for him to manage on his own (while still being a bit challenging). It comes with four pressed-wood puzzles that each have their own compartment inside the wooden box. Each puzzle also has a small symbol on the back of each piece to tell which puzzle it belongs to (for example, one puzzle has a square symbol on the back of each piece, and another has a triangle). The lid to the box slides in, which makes an instant flat surface with a lip so the puzzle can be done on top without sliding off, which is really handy--he can do the puzzle anywhere. My son likes to do one puzzle on top, then slide the lid out of the box and then slide his completed puzzle onto the tabletop before starting the next puzzle. This product is a great value, I'm very happy with it.

Neat puzzles! Durable, sturdy, cute Curious George pictures. I was a little disappointed with the size. I thought they'd be bigger. The puzzles are 4 1/2 by 7 inches.

I bought this for my curious george loving 2 year old. She loves the set and enjoys trying to put the puzzles together. It is not overlarge but perfect for younger children who enjoy puzzles. There are convenient shapes on each puzzle piece to help group them in the appropriate boxes for storage. worth the money

I had to return this puzzle set even though my son (age 2 1/2) loved it. The pieces kept breaking apart with splintery wooden shards that were very unsafe. I glued the first few breaks back together but at least one piece broke every time we played with it! We used it only about 5 times. I returned it with no problem. I've had better luck with the "Melissa & Doug" puzzles sets like this one, unfortunately they don't have a "Curious George" set.

For a 2 year old, not too difficult at that age. Enough puzzles to keep her interested plus it is compact!
