This toy bus is very realistic. It has operable doors and even a stop sign that opens up on the side. My son and nephew are two years old, and they both love playing with it. In fact, we ordered a second bus so they could each have their own.

I bought these for my grandson who is pretty hard on toys. They are actual metal, and stood up to all his 'tests'. The detailing is very accurate. They really do look like a miniature school bus. He preferred the bus that is somewhat self propelled. My only negative would be that the plastic mirrors lasted about 2 minutes. I recommend both of these though.

I ordered this bus for my 2 yr. old who LOVES school buses. The pros of this toy are that it is pretty durable, it has taken quite a beating from my son but has held up really well. The school bus door can open and close and the stop sign comes out when you open the door. The cons are that the switch to open the door is VERY tiny and hard for him to open. I also did not like that it was a Pull back toy. He can not push it back and forth without it winding itself up and taking off and flying off the table. Also the bus is super small, not at all like I was thinking because the title of the toy says "Large". Maybe I should have read the measurements I suppose! Overall this toy has held up very well but I dont think I would purchase it again

We bought this bus to replace one that was handed down to my son from his twelve-year-old niece. Apparently, Schylling USED to make a decent product as the previous one held up pretty well. I guess this is technically a "die cast" toy, however, so many of the pieces on it are plastic and put together in such a lazy manner that the toy started falling apart the same day my son got it. The stop sign has snapped off and the doors (which used to be metal and are now a flimsy plastic) have broken. You are supposed to be able to slide the bus backwards on the floor and rev the wheels so that when you let it go, it will glide across the floor. After less than an hour of play, our bus had wheels that will no longer turn. I took the bus apart to try to fix the wheels and had no luck. Taking it apart DID make me realize how many of the parts are now plastic and just horribly put together. If I had known how different this one was in quality from the one we had from several years ago, I would not have spent a DIME to buy it. Very disappointing.

I did not buy this for a toy it was purchased for a gag gift. It is a really well-made school bus and heavy too. It does have some pretty cool moving parts which I am sure any kid would love. Seller delivered very promptly (thank you).
