This is a cute one-off toy linked to the excellent book. The plush toy seems fine, but I was disappointed that it only says one thing: "Let me drive the bus!", recorded by an adult male, sort of in meltdown mode. It would have been better if they included more quotes.

I recently bought this pigeon for my 6 year old daugther with autism. She really loves all the pigeon books so I thought this would be a great addition to her collection. What I didnt expect is how much my other children would enjoy it. They poke his tummy and he say "let me drive the bus" and they all giggle and tell him pigeons cant drive buses.
This toy is simple, but some of the best things in life are. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a pigeon fan in their life like me.

I teach kids with severe special needs. When we read the story the kids who are non verbal; can't wait to grab the pigeon and have it say" don't let the pigeon drive the bus" Great stuffed animal ..

My granddaughter who has the book, squealed with delight when she opened this present for her birthday! It's very cute, and says "Let me drive the bus!"

My 5-year-old granddaughter simply loves all of Mo Willems pigeon books. She finds them dramatic and has easily memorized the content of each book. She loves playing the role of the pigeon or the bus driver's friend.The addition of the plush pigeon only enhances her enjoyment. In fact, she took the pigeon in for show and tell at her preschool.
