Our 2 1/2 year old grandson has been playing with these pegs every day for 4 months. it will be a main stay for him for several years to come. Contrary to what one review said, we think this toy offers many different ways to play. Stacking, patterning, learning colors, pulling, pushing. It is wonderful for fine motor skills. We make microphones out them to conduct interviews or sing. We hide them like hiding eggs. We count them. As he gets older, we will fill the square with them except for one hole, jumping a peg to eliminate (like the famous golf tee game)...trying to end up with as few pegs as possible. We will play tic tack toe with a small section of the square. So many ways to play with these pegs. This toy is made of quality, durable material.

Ths product is good value. Made of good quality plastic and right weight for little hands to play with. The pegboard is sturdy and thick. However, there is only one thing you can do with it. Stack them tall, just what it is named as. There is a list of suggested activities that you can do with the toy like sorting, pattern making, etc.

These pegs are great for patterning and recognizing colors. I like that they are easy to stack and stay put without jiggling around in the holes like others I have seen. You can also buy more pegs separately if you want, which is great for families with more kids.
