I gave this to my twin nieces for Christmas, they couldnt wait to decorate their picture frame. My sister said they loved it. They are 4 years old and love crafty gifts, this was perfect

Exactly What's Expected From Melissa and DougMay 21, 2011

My wife and I work in children's ministry and purchase a lot of craft items. We've found Melissa and Doug products to be some of the best. This frame kit is well made and comes with everything you need. Nice bright colors and glitter. The girls love putting them together and it doesn't take hours to do it. Even the kits come in a nice solid box for gift giving.
Another reviewer stated that she threw the kit in the garbage. That's absurd! I don't believe her.

My daughter loves painting and crafts so I thought this would be a cute product for her. While the final product ended up looking great this frame does not stand up. The back piece that is supposed to hold the frame up is connected to this flimsy material so if you can actually get it to stand up it slants so far back the picture is practically looking up at the ceiling. I'm going to hot glue some ribbon to the back of the frame and just hang it on the wall.

The quality is very disappointing. I was going to give it to my granddaughter but gave it to the wastebasket instead. Don't waste your money.
