Awesome Floor PuzzleJan 07, 2009

My six year old granddaughter had such fun with this Floor Puzzle. I ordered this for her as it was an unusual puzzle being so big. Her Mom and her put it together right away and they had a lot of fun. I would recommend this as a new and unique puzzle that is fun to put together on the floor! The picture was very princess-like, therefore my six year old loved it!

It's hard to find quality girly puzzles for your preschool princess. My three year old puzzler loves this puzzle because it includes cute animals, a prince and a princess, a fairy tale castle complete with rainbow and is dominated by her favorite girly colors; pink and purple. It is the high quality we have come to expect from Melissa and Doug floor puzzle done with a completely feminine flair.

The puzzle is thicker than I expected. I got for my 3 year old daughter and she loves it. We have done it a few times and it stands up to kids and dogs walking on it. The borders help position the top and bottom. After the puzzle is put together, you can use the puzzle as a seek and find picture to find animals, shapes and colors. Two toys in one making it an even better value and hours of fun.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves floor puzzles and especially this one. The puzzle is challenging and the pieces are the perfect size for a 4 year old. The fact that is large makes it that much more fun.

As with all the Melissa and Doug Floor puzzles we have, the kids love it. Of course this one is perfect for girls since they love the fact it has a prince, princess and a castle on it.
My 2 and a half year old has been doing this one a million times with my 4-year-old, and she can now almost do it all by herself. We got the kids a couple of puzzles for Christmas, and for days on end we go through these puzzles, sometimes up to 5 times. They are extremely well made - unfortunately my kids love running over them, too, so they do look a little used after only a month.
I am planning on giving a few of these puzzles as birthday gifts to my daughter's friends.
