M & D jigsaw puzzles are the BESTOct 18, 2010

We have several of these puzzles, from 48 piece to 300, and have been buying them for about 3 years. My 5 year old loves them. We work the ones with more pieces together a couple of times and then she is able to do them on her own if she wants. What I love about them is that there aren't large sections of one color, which can be frustrating for both her and me! If you look at this dog puzzle, each dog is a different color. The puzzle is still plenty challenging but it is not impossible. Melissa and Doug puzzles are all like that, and that's what makes them fun.

I purchased this puzzle for my daughter's 7th birthday. She loves dogs and enjoys puzzles. She was thrilled when she received this gift. The puzzle pieces are nice size, and like most M & D products it is of good quality.

Melissa & Doug puzzles are some of my favorite puzzles. I'm picky about buying good quality puzzles and these are nice thick pieces that stay together well. This was one of my kids favorite puzzles to do. They loved all the different dogs in the picture. We use puzzles at home as a fun way to reward the kids when they have finished school work and chores. They get to pick puzzle pieces from a bowl, without peeking, for a puzzle they've not seen yet. They think it's so fun and they love watching the picture emerge over days & weeks. It's an inexpensive way to reward them when they've gotten certain things accomplished each day.
