This is a terrible toy, it is difficult to play, requiring more air to play than a toddler can muster consistently. Buy your kid a real harmonica, it is easier to play, easier to hold for the kid (because it is smaller) and is more fun.

I gave this to my 2yr old son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. He started playing it immediately and was one of his favorite toys. He's only had it a short time but it seems fairly durable. I would recommend this to others.

I bought two of the Melissa & Doug Harmonicas for my grandsons, ages 4 & 5. They love their hamonicas as all kids I've been around do. The harmonicas seem to be very durable and make a very nice sound (although their mom may have a differnt thought on that). Music is such an important part of helping a child develop in so many areas of life. A good "sound" product.

This is a better product than I was expecting. It's almost identical to a classic metal harmonica, but it's plastic (and, therefore, cheaper). It sounds great and my 3 year old loves it. Definitely a toy, though, and not a real instrument (in case you were wondering).

I was very disappointed with this product. I bought it as a gift for a little boy and thought because it was Melissa and Doug brand it would be a well made toy. I could have bought a better quality toy at the Dollar store!
