The pieces are durable and lock tightly into place so the puzzle can be moved relatively easily without coming apart.

Just can't say enough nice things about the Melissa and Doug puzzles. The quality is excellent, the pieces fit together perfectly, and the colors and pictures are just beautiful! They are age appropriate at 60, 100, 200 or 300 pieces and I just love helping my grandkids put them together!

This is an awesome artistic depiction of Noah's Ark. Our 3 1/2 yr. old can put this together solo, however, we have been building puzzles with her since she could walk. The problem and the reason for the 3-star rating is simply due to how flimsy these pieces are cut and made. We have a bunch of Melissa and Doug floor puzzles we love, however this thing will fall apart easily by an adult let alone a child. I still have to say that my favorite puzzles are Ravensburger.

"Whirlwind"
This was given as a Xmas gift to an eight year old girl. She was thrilled with the theme and the puzzle size and number of pieces. Her Grandma was coming for a visit the next week. The young girl and her Grandmother love to work on puzzles during the evening when they visit.
