We purchased this fort for our 2 grandsons (ages 4 & 8). We also purchased the 42 piece Play Set of Cowboys & Indians (available through Amazon). They absolutely love the fort. It is a toy that works not on batteries but on imagination. It is well built with swinging doors that can be "bolted" and an interior with raised platform for the fort lookouts and a "jail" where the bad guys go. We highly recommend this toy for the little Cowboys and Indians in your life.
