Every year Ty issues a collector's series Signature Bear. To launch the new millennium, Ty chose purple passion as its year 2000 color, and outfitted this plush bear with shimmering lavender-and-silver fur. The multicolored, jewel-toned ribbon around its neck has a metallic sheen, a perfect accent to the bear's resplendent fur. The black button eyes and nose give the face a traditional teddy bear innocence. This Signature Bear is approximately the same size as its Beanie Baby cousins, and just as soft and endearing. Collectors will note the red signature heart on its chest reading "2000 Ty."
