Soft and cuddly for babyMay 06, 2007
By Jen We love giraffes and this one is perfect for our baby girl. She loves to chew on his antlers. We've washed it in the washing machine multiple times and he comes out of the dryer looking and feeling brand new. No loose fabric or parts that could choke a newborn (once you remove the TY tag). When this one wears out, if it ever does, we would definitely buy again.
Cute Giraffe!Jan 15, 2012
By TCooper We got this giraffe for my 18 month old and he loves holding onto it at night. It's recommended for 3 yrs+ but he's not crazy with his toys or stuffed animals so it works well.
We love tip topJan 01, 2012
By K. Watkins I originally got my daughter this giraffe from a consignment store & it quickly became her favorite. I ended up ordering two more as back ups. All our giraffes have been washed numerous times and have lasted three years so far. I look forward to passing them down to my son when my daughter gets tired of them.
Machine WashableNov 14, 2011
By New York Mama My son loves playing with this giraffe and I love that it's machine washable. It's been through the wash several times now and is still in excellent condition.
The giraffe feels nice and soft to the touch. It feels similar to a velour blanket. It is nice and fluffy with a good amount of stuffing. It has pellets in it's bottom and in the bottom of each leg.
It's made in China with Polyester Fibers and PE Plastic Pellets.
My only concern is the eyes. Most toys that are marketed for infants have eyes that are made out of stitching as opposed to a separate piece that is attached to the stuffed animal. The eyes on this giraffe are hard plastic type circles that are attached to the face. They seem to be attached very securely; however; if they did come off they would be a choking hazard.
My daughter has 4 of these. 'Nough said, right?Sep 13, 2011

We adopted and this toy came with my daughter when we brought her home. We saw some at a book store and got her another. Then I got her 2 more online. They're soft, but have some differnent texture stuffing. From age 5 months to now age 4, my daughter has had use for them. From snuggling or teething to rubbing the soft tail on her skin to soothe herself.
